Unit: per_match · unmatched results billed: no
Charged only when a valid email is found; a miss is free. Government staff match too: pass the domain of the office the person sits in (a member's own domain, the committee's, the agency's). When it misses, take the point of contact printed on the notice or agency page and contact.verify it; .mil coverage is thinner.

The exact quote is returned by /v1/inspect before every call and held with headroom on execution. The quote is the price floor: if the provider's actual cost overruns it, the run bills the overrun at the same rate, never above the hold. The unused part of every hold is released.
