Effective September 1, 2026 (referral program section added September 24, 2026; monthly plans section added September 25, 2026) · Jell is operated by Altria LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Jell", "we").
The service
Jell provides an API that routes GTM data calls (SEO, enrichment, company signals, social and ads data) across third-party providers we select and contract. You call capabilities; we meter, price and settle each call against your prepaid balance. During early access, parts of the catalog run in clearly labeled mock mode; mock results are for integration testing and must not be treated as real data.
Credits and billing
- Credits are prepaid, drawn down per call. The quote for a call is returned by /v1/inspect and held with headroom (1.5x the quote) before execution. The quote is the price floor: if the provider's actual cost overruns it, the call bills that cost at the same per-call rate, never above the hold. Failed calls and no-matches (on capabilities that don't bill them) release their hold, and the unused part of every hold is released on settlement.
- Credits are non-transferable and non-withdrawable, usable only for Jell calls. Promotional credit (such as the early-access $1) has no cash value and may carry an expiry stated when granted.
- Purchased credits that are unused are refundable on account closure within 12 months of purchase; promotional credit is not.
- If we misbill a call, tell us; we re-settle it against the recorded quote and measured provider cost, and refund the difference.
Monthly plans
- Pay per call is the default and needs no plan. A monthly plan (Plus at $99, Pro at $199, Scale at $499 a month, plus tax where it applies) lowers Jell's margin on every call by the share the plan states: 20%, 40% or 60%. The provider's cost within a price is never discounted, so a plan lowers prices by less than its stated share.
- The discount applies to calls quoted and settled while a paid plan period is in effect, from the moment its payment confirms. It is not applied to calls settled before that, and a workspace with a custom rate settles at whichever rate is lower.
- The monthly fee pays for the discount. It is not wallet credit and cannot be spent on calls.
- Plans renew monthly on the day they started, charged to the saved card. If a renewal fails, the discount continues for up to 3 days while the payment is retried, then stops until it is paid.
- An upgrade applies at once and charges the prorated difference for the rest of the month. A downgrade applies from the next renewal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan runs to the end of the month already paid. Partial months are not refunded.
- If a plan payment is refunded in full or disputed, the discount for that month ends when the refund or dispute is recorded.
- We can change plan prices or discounts for future months with 30 days' notice by email; the change applies from your first renewal after that.
Referral program
- Every workspace has a referral link. A new workspace created through it is referred by the workspace that shared it.
- The referred workspace gets $5 of promotional credit, once, on its first deposit of $20 or more. Workspaces referred before September 24, 2026 keep the $10 minimum they signed up under.
- The referrer earns 50% of Jell's net revenue on the referred workspace's live calls for 90 days from its signup. Net revenue on a call is what the workspace paid for it minus what the provider charged us for it (our estimate of that cost when the provider does not report it). The share is credited to the referrer's wallet as each call settles.
- Referral rewards are promotional credit: no cash value, non-withdrawable, non-transferable, and not refundable on account closure.
- A referral has to bring in someone new. Referring yourself, another workspace you control, or someone at your own company does not count. We do not link a signup from the referrer's own email address or company domain, and we remove a link when both workspaces pay with the same card. Removing a link reverses the bonus and the revenue share it paid.
- If the deposit that earned the bonus is refunded or disputed and less than the minimum remains, the bonus is taken back and is not paid again. A reversal can take a balance below zero; the next deposit settles it.
- We may withhold or reverse referral rewards obtained through fraud, chargebacks or other abuse. We can change the program for future referrals; existing referrals keep the terms they signed up under.
Your side
- Keep your keys confidential; calls made with your key are your calls. Rotate a key immediately if you suspect it leaked.
- Use the data you retrieve lawfully: you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to your use (including data-protection and anti-spam law) and with the acceptable use policy.
Honest limits
We commit to transparent metering and pre-call pricing, not to specific data outcomes. Match rates, coverage and freshness depend on upstream providers; the status page reports each adapter's real state. If a provider changes terms or availability, the catalog and prices may change, but never retroactively: the quote you saw before a call stays its price floor, and no call ever bills above 1.5x that quote.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim, and neither side is liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming, United States, and disputes belong to the courts of Wyoming, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
